Tuesday i had to put him down. i spent all morning with him, grazing and scratching. he was put down probably around 12:45 pm that day. I walked him into that nasty little room with black leather floors and told him i was proud of him. then they killed him. took my angel away from me. my ever reason for being. gone.
his bone had been half eaten by the infection and his fronts legs were breaking down from bearing so much weight for so long.
The hardest part was.. he almost won.
He was such a fighter.

Dear God,
please let Jocko live, don't take him away from me yet. let the doctor call us and say everything is fine and it was a false alarm. please God, he is my everything, i love him so much don't take him away, i am on my knees begging you with everything
i'm worth. don't take him, i'll go crazy, i can't cope if something happens to him. Not yet God not yet. please with everything i have, let him live. We never got the bareback beach gallop i promised him. please don't make me put him down God, i can't kill him after everything we've been through, after everything he has done for me. Save Jocko God. Please. With everything i have, all that I'm worth and all i will become, save him. because i can't go on without him.
