Richard William Wright (born July 28, 1943 , died 15 September 2008) was a self-taught pianist and keyboardist best known for his long career with PINK FLOYD.The album is regarded with some acclaim among PINK FLOYD fans.

Wet Dream was the first solo album from PINK FLOYD keyboardist Richard Wright, released in 1978. The album went virtually unnoticed at the time. Wet Dream was self-produced and Wright wrote all the songs himself, except "Against The Odds," which was co-written with his then-wife, Juliette. The album is currently out of print, although it was re-released on CD in the US and Canada in the 1990s, with some success.
The album was recorded at Superbear Studios in France in early 1978 shortly after band mate DAVID GILMOUR finished his self titled solo debut with Wright producing and featuring ex-Robin Trower drummer Reg Isadore, ex-King Crimson hornman Mel Collins on saxophones and flutes and ex-Cat Stevens bass player Larry Steele. The fact that his creative frustrations make themselves apparent is both good and bad for Wright (good that his accumulation of material was used but then also caused him to be out of musical ideas for The Wall).

Music From The Body -Roger Waters & Ron Geesin

Music from The Body is the soundtrack album to Roy Battersby's 1970 documentary film The Body, about human biology, narrated by Vanessa Redgrave and Frank Finlay. The music was composed in collaboration between Pink Floyd member Roger Waters and Ron Geesin, and employs biomusic, including sounds made by the human body (slaps, breathing, laughing, whispering, flatulence, etc.), in addition to more traditional guitar, piano and stringed instruments. The date of this album places it between Ummagumma and Atom Heart Mother, the latter featuring Geesin as a collaborator. The album's final track, "Give Birth to a Smile", features an uncredited appearance by all four members of Pink Floyd, with Geesin playing piano.

The lineup included guitarist David Gilmour, who went on to join Pink Floyd.

Their only releases were a privately-pressed, single-sided LP and single, of which only 50 copies each were made. A tape recording of the LP is held by the British Library's National Sound Archive.


Jokers Wild was a band formed during the mid-60s, featuring David Gilmour. The other
musicians were John Gordon (guitar), Clive Welham (drums), Tony Sainty (bass) and David
Altham (vocals). In 1965, they recorded a one-sided mini LP with these 5 songs.
Note that David Gilmour played in other bands before joining Jokers Wild:
The Newcomers (early 60s) and then The Ramblers (in 1962-1963).
