Dance Marathon at UCLA is one of the largest student-organized philanthropic organizations on the West Coast. With educational and fun activities throughout the year, we seek to unite the UCLA campus in the fight against AIDS.

Our work culminates in a 26-hour dance-a-thon where hundreds of dancers acknowledge the battle of children suffering from AIDS by remaining on their feet for the entire duration of the event. All proceeds from Dance Marathon -- $1,300,00 over the past 8 years -- have benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Camp Heartland, and Project Kindle.

	hivquestions (1 year ago) "this test should NOT be used to determine the absence or presence of hiv infection" - from the hiv test kit label. when hiv was announced as the 'probable' cause of AIDS it never went through independent scientific review, and when scientists asked to do so their funding was cut. why? let us all come together to fully understand the true causes of AIDS.
