Prelude in C# Maj, op3, no.2 (again)

Since you asked, your rubatos were a little on the fast side. I do the same thing and I'm also working on that. And when you took off fast, had you noticed that you were playing the notes incorrectly? I liked that you said it was nice playing in front of people you know and who don't know music. LOL! Good one! In that case, you played splendidly! ;)

I also listened to the other Rochmaninoff Op.25, and I decided that you do this as a comedy routine, right? "wink-wink" Or perhaps for Candid Camera to see reactions from people?

I know you have talent because you can play some of the more difficult passages; probably, better than I do. But I think you practice like I do: No patience. You must take your time and break down the more difficult parts of the music, one measure at a time when practicing. It takes time and the grind. Just go over and over small amounts of music at a time.

you're a great pianist. how old are you and how long have you studied piano?

Well, not everyone can afford a fancy piano bench. And the chairs that are used most often in Japan is the adjustable chair, like the one that you probably commented on. It may not look professional for many, but it's the most economical chair available. A bench like the one you sat on playing the steinway costs like 4 to 500 US dollars. And not very many people are going to pay that much for a chair for just a home or student recitals. I sure am not, unless I have a steinway.
