It di it just had a different name: the Baku Khanate. The Democratic Republic which included the southeastern half of Armenia did exist at the same time Armenia gained independance from the Russian empire. Also 37% of what is modern day Armenia was Azeri around the Turn of the century. Yerevan itself was 49% Azeri & 48% Armenian. Now there are less than 100 Azeris in Armenia.

If that's so then even by your standards the Occupation is Illegal. Yo claim that the land was transferred from Armenia to Azerbaijan (in 1924, not 1920) but large portions of what is now Armenia were transferred from Azerbaijan to Armenia when they were reincorporated into the USSR.
