Appalshop is a media arts center located in the heart of the Appalachian coalfields. We produce documentary films, grassroots media projects, radio productions, theater, and youth media. Appalshop is also home to the community run radio station WMMT-FM.

I live in Kentucky. You cannot drive very far in Eastern Ky. w/o seeing the rape of mountaintops. I live along the Ohio River , and although it is now as clean as it has been for 75 years, it still is a mess. Thanks for doing your part to help save our natural resources and our country's natural beauty. We can all learn from each other here at youtube.
