Hello Anne, I am so glad that you have had the courage to stay true to your beliefs and not fall into the temptation to write more vampire and witch novels... I liked the vampire and witch novels, don't get me wrong... I've read all your books... My personal favorite was Servant of the Bones... all I'm saying is your spiritual re-awakening seemed to coincide with mine and has been a source of encouragement and enlightenment... I am very much looking forward to getting your insight on the angelic beings, and I was very pleased with how you handeled the Christ child... very well done... thank you for following your heart and not the easy money...

I think I was introduced to your writing in high school. I believe I checked out "Interview With A Vampire" from the library. I really loved it and read "Lestat the Vampire" and "Queen of the Damned". I really loved your vampire novels, but in 1993 after becoming a Christian I eliminated a lot of reading material that wasn't good for me spiritually. Over the years as I've grown and matured I've been able to add good literature back to my life, and I do consider your earlier works good literature. I look forward to reading your newer works as well as enjoying the older ones.

Thank you for your amazing writings previous to the religious rantings, we are all sorry for your loss Anne, but religion is not the answer, It is a crutch to those who have no rational thought, religion has been used for 1000's of years to placate rational thinking, We all know you are much smarter then that. Do not fall for this false sense of being. Religion is what is wrong with this world.I have read your books and have read the bible, I consider your earlier works to be better then a book that was intended to control society mentally as well as physically. I wish you well and thanks once again.

I remember reading your adventures with Lestat and being fully drawn into a world of incredible imagination. To this day I still smile now and then when I think about your views in Memnoch the Devil.
Thank you for sharing yourself with the world. With me. Thank you Anne Rice. |
