I am extremely saddened to know there will be no more Lestat or Louis, Mayfairs or Talamasca. I totally understand. It was "Interview" that I identified with and made me a fan. It really spoke to me and I "got" it. Even though it is fiction, it seemed so real. I got to meet you at a book signing one time, you were so gracious. I even travelled to New Orleans and happened to meet your son Christopher coming out of the house. He was 12 at the time. I loved the fact that your house matched the illustration in The Witching Hour. Thank you for such wonderful works and if Lestat ever comes calling again...I"ll be here waiting.
Thank you |

I ll keep it short: To me you are the best writer ever. In the darkest periods of my life they have comforted me
thank you |

Heh, I'd be careful. Youtube tends to make otherwise writers into video editors.

Dear Anne, a sugestion: why don't you mix your new and old style? You could write about christian vampire hunters in dark ages !
I 'm just kidding! :) |

Anne- I must say thank you for all your books. I am recently born-again, it was a long journey that was helped along by following Lestat's own journey from darkness to the light.
I was torn at first about your Christ books, but after reading a lot on your site I will be buying them as soon as I can. God Bless You Anne. With Love Di |

Anne, I have loved all of your books. From the Beauty series, to the Vampire Chronicles, The Mayfairs, and even the new Christ series. Although I am not a Christian, the new books are great works. I enjoy them as much as I did the other older books. I am sad to hear you will no longer be writing about the characters we have all come to love. I do, however, given the chance your readers will love the new series as well. Your writing is wonderful. I hope to read many more new novels. If perhaps you aren't going to write about Christ, I am excited to hear that C.S. Lewis is one of your inspirations, he is another of my favorites! I can't wait for more!

Anne, I have loved your books forever! Years ago when I became a Christian I was very, very sad and struggled hard because I felt that I had to "give up" your books because of the darkness of the Vampire world....now I am very, very, very pleased to have you and your wonderful talent back in my life once again...isn't it amazing what the Lord can do...NOTHING IS TO HARD FOR THE LORD! I know that Jesus will bless your future works for Him! All things work together for good for those that love God. Write on my dear friend and Welcome Home! Eunice Saunders, Winston Salem, NC

The old works: dark AND transformative --- precisely!
What a rare and most fruitful combination; one that has much to say about the movement of transformation and the questions a self must take in hand to undergo it. |
