About Me:
It's wonderful that it's being enjoyed by so many people, and we really appreciate those of you who want to share it with other people. In fact most people discover Animusic thru a friend or web referral. ANIMUSIC is distributed on DVD, and it looks and sounds way, way better in that format. As more and more people tell us that they had no idea it was on DVD, and how much better it looks now that they're watching it in that format, we felt we needed to post "official" versions that (1) were the highest quality we could encode for YouTube, and (2) let people know how they could find "the real thing".
Both our graphics and music are entirely digitally synthesized. We "invent" imaginary Virtual Instruments by building computer graphics models of objects that appear to create the sound of the corresponding synthesized music track. Virtual Instruments range from being reminiscent of existing instruments to arbitrarily abstract. The animation of graphical instrument elements is generated automatically within our proprietary software called ANIMUSIC|studio. Our technique is analytical and note-based (as opposed to being reactive and sound-based). Our internal software continues to move towards interactive real-time application, but our focus continues to be on pre-rendered content (e.g. DVDs) rather than interactive applications such as video games.

im pretty much certain, that it is not only possible to produce machines like these, but has probably been done, at least in prototype.....thats what keeps me up when i should take a nap, the fact that i,as a living breathing writer and player of music from the analog age can be replaced by digital devices and a computer brain ....but i still get an embarrasing foot-tap thing when i look at this

I think Animusic 3 should be one DVD, and not the supposed collection of DVDs organized by genre. It'll turn off a lot of customers, especially since it will cost several times the normal amount to have the entire "series." Definitely not a good idea to do that at this point in the economy. I love Animusic, don't get me wrong, but the idea isn't a good one.
