PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!! Here is another lyrics video I made with Metallica. I just got the album today and I felt like posting my favorite song from it on youtube today! This only took me 2 hours to make :-) Now to clear things up... 1. I get the "girl/phone" joke now :P 2. I know I wrote 'I'm bored' in the solo. I did NOT say I'm bored of the solo, during my work I got bored of putting quote crap so I just put that I was bored of working, and to just wait until the end of the solo for more lyrics. 3. I know I messed up on some of the lyrics, but don't take it personal. Few mistakes happen to everyone once in a while, but there is no way I will delete this video with loads of views/comments/ratings just to change a few errors. 4. The quotes aren't mine. 5. I know that some of you don't like the quotes, you'd rather have pictures instead. I put pictures at the beginning but deleted them from my documents afterward so they got deleted. So therefore, I was too lazy to put them back in and just put quotes instead. If you don't like it, suck it up, you can listen to the studio version itself. 6. I know that before the solo, there is a "Fix me!" Shout right before then that I forgot to put in. I'm sorry for that, I didn't know what was being said there. I was looking at the booklet that came with the CD for lyrics, and it didn't show what was said there. If you want to, go ahead and shout out "Fix me!" At that part, or whatever you think they're saying there, just to make the video look better, and it makes you look good too :D
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed this video and who commented positively! I have also made my new video on "Fade to black" by Metallica, so check it out!
Oh and by the way... I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT THE MEANING OF THIS SONG IS!!!!! Go ahead and debate all you want about what you think the meaning of the song is (cocaine, crack, government, etc.) I really don't care. Don't ask me about it cause I don't care... haha.

Survivor http://riff-o-matic.com/riff-a-day/ey... is an American rock band formed in 1978. The band achieved its greatest success in the 1980s with its pop-rock sound, which garnered many charting singles, especially in the United States. The band is best known for its 1982 hit "Eye of the Tiger", the theme song for the motion picture Rocky III (US #1). Singles like "Burning Heart" (US #2), "The Search Is Over" (#4 US), "High on You" (#8 US) and "I Can't Hold Back (US #13) continued to chart in the mid-1980s.
The band tweaked its musical direction in 1988 with the release of the slightly heavier Too Hot to Sleep, but due to changes in the music industry and shift of popularity towards bands like Mötley Crüe and Poison, the album barely reached the Billboard 200 in the United States. Because of this, the band split. Singer Jimi Jamison later toured as "Survivor" in the mid-1990s, to the chagrin of the rest of the band. Jamison re-united with the band's other members in 2000 and the band released Reach in 2006, but Jamison left the band after its release and was replaced by Robin McAuley. The band has continued to tour with McAuley into 2008.
"Eye of the Tiger" is a song performed by the American rock group Survivor, and is taken from the album of the same name. It was released on January 1st, 1982, and was written at the request of Sylvester Stallone for the film Rocky III. The original mix of the song, heard in the film, features tiger growls, though the single omits them.
Lyrics :
Risin' up, back on the street Did my time, took my chances Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past You must fight just to keep them alive
Chorus: It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry They stack the odds 'til we take to the street For we kill with the skill to survive
chorus
Risin' up, straight to the top Have the guts, got the glory Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop Just a man and his will to survive
chorus
