Swedish guitarist Per-Olov Kindgren was born in Bogota, Colombia and came to Sweden when he was 4 years old. In 1970 he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark and started studying with Torvald Nilsson in Helsingborg, Sweden and after three years he entered the Danish Royal Academy of Music where he studied the classical guitar for 7 years with professor Per-Olof Johnson and graduated with a final diploma in 1983.
Kindgren composes and arranges not only works for guitar but for other instruments as well. His soft and melodic and often melancholic pieces, are now being played all over the world and even used as music for independent films. Mr. Kindgren is currently widening his concerts activities.

Peo, We're trying to decide what C.G.P. stands for. Greg thinks it stands for "comprehensive guitar player" and I think it stands for "crazy guitar person." So now we need you to settle our bet :-). Perhaps "cute guy Peo" or maybe "codger gets plucky?"

Jeg slutter meg herved til din store tilhengerskare ;-)

Just a quick question.

I'm into a heavier style of music but I have respect for all kinds of music and love incorporating new things into my style. Would you have any recommendations on where to begin with classical-like voice leading with chords being played simultaneously? If that question doesn't make sense let me know. I'm just baffled on how it's done and where exactly to begin
