Im a scottish lass that did scotland dancin for 7 years and to me its traditional to have learnt scotland dancin! i used to dance for festivles and for the scottish people! But to think that americans dance to it, i dont agree! Its a tradition for the scots know and to dance to there own independent dance. Iv never known other countries to do dance highland dancin! Ii just doesnt seem right!

But other than that if ur wer a scot id pay full respect cuz u r a very talented 'highland dancer'!

Hey! Lol im Shannon from Canada. Im a highland dancer too. well use to be but i had to stop this year because of a knee injury. ='[ . Your really good. =] . I was in dace sence i was 5 years old till 13 years old. im thinking of starting in another dance feild tho. I would really love to try creative dance or contemporairy. I find they are so beautiful.
