This is one of our Golden puppies snoring. This video was taken when they were 6 weeks plus. They just had their baths so they were very exhausted.

Is your dog as good as mine? Try not to give any hand signal, don't repeat the command, don't look at your dog, try saying the command in a soft tone & calmly. See whether your dog is listening to what you're saying & not just indulging in the food that you throw to it. And see whether he won't touch the food when it's soooo close to its nose. Amber's puppies are 5 weeks old here on May 10th 09. This is their 1st being exposed to the sounds of the outside world. A gate banging from another house, someone opening their car door, ice cream man coming by, car passing by, birds chirping & many more sounds. This is a good exposure for them. But you can see that River is a little scared with the ice cream man song. I think it's not his type of song. Hehe! Overall, the kids had a fun time.

The puppies already began to eat solid food at the age of 17 days old. Just to let you all know, the pups had no problems eating this young. They went on eating till 2 weeks plus & their poop were normal. Some puppies may not be able to take in solid food this young but some can like ours. So if you see any problems in your puppies like if it's hiding in dark corner or under a couch, vomiting, bloating or having diarrhea, immediately stop, keep checking on the pup, let it rest, no more food or milk for a few hours, if it perks up again, then it's fine & you can just let it continue drinking the Mama's milk till the age of 4 or 5 weeks old & then later you can start to introduce it to solid food once again but very slowly & don't try to be too adventurous with the food!

I only videoed 3 of the pups. Couldn't video them all. The males generally are the calmer ones & are easy to handle but I think they all did pretty well on their 1st try. This is also their 1st time on a table. I made sure I rewarded them a lot to build their confidence.

Amber-Mae our beautiful 3 years old Golden Retriever gave birth on the 31st of March 2009. She gave birth to 10 puppies but unfortunately, 3 did not survive & they were buried in our mini garden just outside our house. There were 6 girls & 4 boys. The remaining seven are very healthy & are growing up fast. One of them has started barking. They are 8 days old today. Here's a video of the whelping process. Hope you like it!

This is a new video of Amber-Mae's Ultrasound. The previous one that I made had some wrong information about her pregnancy so I had to correct them. This video is exactly the same. The pups are 3 inches long in this video not 3 centimeters & Amber is due in 28 days not 52. Gosh, I think I was half a sleep when I made the 1st one! Sorry about that.

Latest trick performed by Amber-Mae. She mastered it in two days. She just loves this whole idea of dunking her head in water because she does that all the time with a bucket full of it! And another reason why she loves performing this trick so much is because it involves with a LOT of food! So far, I think she's the 1st Golden Retriever to perform this trick on YouTube. If there's any other Goldens out there performing this trick, let me know.
