offer what you can/want to. There is no minimum or maximum, this is bhakti. A lot of people offer simple water in a small vessel and also some sugar crystals. Others offer rice daily, yet some will even offer naivedyams. Arti should be done everyday to Bhagavan, since Shaligram Bhagavan is swayam...
