UPDATED: An Ident for the film release company "Filmways". This is NOT he same Filmways that produced TV shows in the USA, but rather a distribution company that was founded in Melbourne in the late 1960s. Filmways was primarily a film distributor for Euro films of the 1970s and early 1980s in Australia but they did branch out and make some films like "The True Story of Eskimo Nell". The company had it's catalogue mainly released on VHS by Video Classics and sometimes K-Tel, however I have found one released via Vestron. The company was renamed Filmpac from the mid to late 1980s and then dissappeared.

This was lifted from the early 1980s Video Classics VHS release of "Superbug -- Craziest Car in the World". I also have this ident on a 16mm print of "Hopscotch" so this must have been on the original film master print used for the release. Very rare ident so hang onto any VHS or film print you have that does have this. (less info)
