My first M.U.G.E.N. challenge I decided to clear. This challenge was issued by YouTube user Vulcan422. You can see the conditions here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =NQ8QD2CIj2g
My Character: Chun-Li by rkMugen and AngelMyst
CPU Challenger: Kenpachi Zaraki by Yurichi
Stage: SFA3 Final Bison's Stage by Doorhenge
Menu Screenpack: M.u.g.e.N Coruscation by Ziltama
So to face down the fearsome Kenpachi Zaraki, I decided to go with none other than good old Chunny. Her kicks have enough range to handle the sword when you're in the right place, and her LV3 Kikkosho super is useful against enemies who like to get too close.
This was a pretty annoying challenge, and it took me a lot of screw-ups before I completed it. Usually Zaraki just owned my ass, although once I finished him with a standard move by accident, and twice Zaraki caused M.U.G.E.N. to lock up for some reason.
I regret to say that I had to use rather cowardly tactics and deal most of my damage with supers. This was mostly to fulfil Vulcan422's condition to finish Zaraki each round with a LV2 or higher super, but also, when a guy has a mother****ing sword, you stay the HELL away from him. Especially a sword that auto counters, air combos like crazy, and sometimes extends its reach to cover the entire screen. And don't get me STARTED on Zaraki's broken-ass super moves.
