Welcome to AMR Entertainment. We make the challenging/satirical films we want to make without interruption from outside sources because we fund our own projects. We have built up an ever-expanding army of brilliant, diverse and creative cast & crew who work with us to produce the best entertainment! We are also an online radio station - check us out at www.amrentertainment.co.uk and hit the radio button. Also, don't forget to tune in to our flagship programme "The AMR Movie Show", which airs 9pm (UK) every Thursday evening! Tune in for reviews of all the week's latest movies, movie news and the UK Top Ten with hosts Richard Blanchette and Andrew Mackay.

We're always on the lookout to produce other projects for the AMR banner - so if you're liking what you see here and think you may have something we can take on board or produce, then please get in contact - andrew@amrentertainment.co.uk
Hometown:
West London
Occupation:
Filmmaker, documentarian, teacher
Companies:
AMR Entertainment
Hobbies:
Films, filmmaking, film watching!
Movies:
Robocop***, Society**, Grosse Pointe Blank, Happiness, From Dusk Till Dawn, Fight Club, Being John Malkovich, His Girl Friday, Dr. Strangelove, The Stuff, Q the Winged Serpent, The Dream Team, The Fly (Cronenberg's, not the awful original!!), Street Trash, Braindead, Three Colours Trilogy, South Pacific and Gremlins 2 are among the best movies ever made, in my opinion... are you starting to see a pattern here? Probably not. I love ALL genres. I love most any works by Larry Cohen, Peter Sellers, David Lynch, Luis Bunuel, Paul Verhoeven, Oliver Stone, Stuart Gordon, massive Howard Hawkes fan, Charlie Chaplin, Preston Sturges, Buster Keaton, Joe Dante, Frank Capra, much - but not quite all of - Werner Herzog's eclectic repertiore (particularly admire Fitzcarraldo and Grizzly Man), big fan of Stanley Kubrick, Orson Welles, Amy Berg, Cary Grant, Michael Moriarty, Neil Jordan, Kirby Dick, Guy Ritchie, Martin Scorsese, Brian Yuzna... Goddaaaammmn, the list goes on... and on... and I can see you're not reading this anymore because I could literally bore the backend off a horse on this question, and it could very well last several weeks...
Music:
Soundtracks, classical, contemporary/classic rock. A HUGE fan of BT (no, not British Telecom!) - he's primarily my favourite artist, with David Holmes a very close second. And also Neil Myers, whose music you can see and/or (both) listen to at: www.neilmyers.com
Books:
Love those 'Babylon' series of books by Imogen Edwards-Jones, avid VIZ reader. Oh, and you MUST read Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Robert Sellers, if you're a film fan, for a true glimpse into how intricate/difficult the film business (both creatively and financially) really is.
