"RASSICURAZIONI" was part of INCONTRI CON L'ARTE CONTEMPORANEA (Meeting with contemporary art), a series of installation hosted at Multisala MODERNISSIMO in Naples, Italy.

"RASSICURAZIONI" (REINSURANCE) wanted to offer to the people a public service: a REINSURANCES dispensers. Something like a phone booth (the one that u find on the street), but made to calm the soul of human beings. The visitors after viewing, with an uncertain look, at the big portrait/picture of the woman with baby... had to lay their head over those two rubber semispheres, where they could listen to the heartbeat, the natural sound that calm us down. The first one that an human being hear. Since he's in the belly of his mummy.

DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE UNKNOWN. DON'T BELIVE THE HYPE!!!

This short clip shows the Procession of the artist, bringing the Madonna with baby from the ancient historical building where the opera was concived, along the Decumano street, to the modern space where the installation was exhibit. (less info)
