You are abusing "Chanda System". Holy Prophet PBUH and Khulfa-e-Rashideen also asked muslims from money at various occasions except Zakat. One example, do not you remember when He asked to people bring stuff from home and Hadharat Abu Bakar brought all stuff from his home and Hadharat Umar brought half. If you were there at that time, you definitely would oppose this and say,"Look what Holy Prophet has done, removed all stuff from his friends." And you know what would all Sahaba would think about you, only one person would be happy with you, Abdullah bin Abi Slool.
