Hmm everyone keeps asking why I dont like iPods. Here is why:
1. I do not use popular name brand items. People classify and judge too easily on things others have. I am punk, and I get ridiculed for what I wear, my music, etc. etc.
2. Truth be told, iPods dont last long. My friend has had a normal iPod Nano for 2 years, and the main battery is already dead. Ive had my MP3 Player for just as long, and it is doing perfectly. Ive never had one problem with it.
3. iPods are so breakable. In just one move, they can snap, or bust, and you have to pay money to fix it, or buy a new one. Ive had my MP3 Player for 2 years, and its been: dropped, thrown, stepped on, lost, kicked, left in the snow, wet, through the wash, and more, and it STILL lives. Now, that is what I love about it.
4. iPod touches are just so big. Its hard to fit it in the correct place without it falling out of your pocket, or getting stolen.
5. iPods are so expensive, and they are limited. They are only expensive b/c everyone has to have one, and they are popular. My MP3 does MORE than an iPod, and I saved 200 dollars, just by not buying an iPod.
6. Yeah, sure, an iPod has 20-200 gigs. But, in reality, who really listens to that many songs? You can say Oh, I do! but, you really dont. When a person is listening to music, they usually listen to what they want to listen to, and will pick out their favorites. The other songs just sit in there, b/c the person just knows the song.
