No problem. Thanks for the camera info, I think you demonstrated my belief that HDV can produce some great results when shot well (despite what some who are in favour of only XDCAM and HDCAM say), and it can look even better when downscaled to 720p. Turning 1080i into 720p50 at post can work well...

I think you are right, I was under the impression that the XL2 ccds are actually true 16:9 even if its still laid down onto tape at 720x576.
Very nice, I still love using my S8 camera, though you get some funny looks from people here in London if you do!
