I knew Rob when he was at his peak in the shot put when I moved to California in the South Bay area of Los Altos, Ca. and he qualified for the 1984 Olympic trials. We threw at Foothill College and he was always good natured, always willing to help a fellow thrower. I think that's what I remembered most about him... a good man and a great shot putter. (less info)
