Many people (myself included) were disapointed that the Safari Zone was not included in Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal when you went back to Kanto. It seems however, that the game's creators had at some stage planned to have the Safari Zone in the game but abandoned it. Using a GameBoy Colour Gameshark, you can go to the Safari Zone!

Unfortunately, there are no Pokemon in this Safari Zone and there is no way that I know of to get out, so be careful not to save there!
