My name is Jessica Solomon. I am a breastfeeding advocate, filmmaker, and researcher.

Because many women lack confidence in their ability to breastfeed, have problems with breastfeeding techniques and gadgets, and often lack individualized encouragement to breastfeed, I created a blog, a newsletter, and a unique breastfeeding video called Breastfeeding: Mother-to-Mother. It is my hope and desire that through those mediums I can help some of those women have a successful breastfeeding experience.

When it comes to breastfeeding, it is my fervent belief that women should be empowered through encouragement, education, and the sharing of experiences mother-to-mother. And when seeking guidance from professional lactation educators, consultants, and organizations, women should not surrender their power or intuition to the credentials of another.
