About Me:
Their thumping track Fat Girls Fighting, from their debut EP, The Catalyst, has received critical acclaim and even made it onto Radio 1's Zane Lowe's coveted playlist. XFM's weekend presenter Marsha Shandur also heaped praise on Fat Girls Fighting commenting, "It makes you shake your ass furiously." The production has hints of classic Quincy Jones and a touch of Rick Rubin creating the completely unique infectious and exhilarating 3rd Day Syndrome sound.
Their influences include acts such as The Meters, Zarif, J2K, Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay, Pink Floyd Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Nirvana, Snoop, Richie Havens, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Michael Jackson, Metallica and Jay-Z, as well as the great funk bands of the 60s and 70s.
3rd day Syndrome have honed their electrifying live skills playing across London. They have just completed a residency at the Notting Hill Arts Club where the likes of Lily Allen and The Libertines first made a name for themselves and have also played at venues such as Café De Paris, Hard Rock Café, Sound in Leicester Square, ULU, Brixton Telegraph, The Playroom, The Cobden Club, Push as well as shows for London Fashion Week and a host of charity events.
