***What Is MMD LIVE?***

"MMD LIVE" is the original homemade project that attempts to recreate the feel of a live VOCALOID concert on a small scale. Using holographic-illusion (Pepper's Ghost) technology, MMD models appear to move in 3D space on a miniature stage without the need for a projector. All images are photographed live and are in no way digitally composited or "green-screened" into the video. This is NOT Augmented Reality. My goal is to make a complete "concert" by posting various songs with Vocaloids performing them on this stage.

***How it Works***

Optical superimposition of virtual images - a technique known as Pepper's Ghost which has been modernized in the Musion Eyeliner system.
