I gotta show a lil love for my ALL-TIME favorite Bass Player, Mr. Louis Johnson. I remember when I was a lil one, when I first REALLY heard the break down on "Stomp", it was official, I had to learn how to do that shit. I've always been fixated on the bass, on almost ANY song, but "Stomp" made it official...Years later, I still ain't got around to gettin' them lessons, haha, but I've always told myself that one day I was gonna get it down, and bust up one of my thumbs on it, hahahaha.

Right now, I'ma get it down with this instrumental from Louis Johnson's rare solo LP, "Evolution", which has only been released in Europe. This one has that Miami Beach, Ocean Drive Circa '85 kinda vibe, hahahaha. This one came from some ooooold vinyl, so the audio quality gon be a lil lacking, but check it out while I'm vibin' to it, and let me know somethin!
