what did jesus sacrafice? jesus is soppose to be god in human form,he got nailed to a cross,went to hell for a while,and now hes in heaven ruleing over the world with all that power? wheres the sacrafice? dieing and going to heaven is not a sacrafice,its basically moveing,its like me saying oh i use to live in this city,then i packed up my stuffed and moved to a different countrey,thats not a sacrafice,its a relocation, god(assumeing hes real which i don't believe) could just make another body,and come back to earth anytime,so whats the sacrafice?

When a person regards Christianity as absolute truth, they don't accept the possibility that they could be wrong. When they observe others leaving the faith, they naturally place the fault on the person who is leaving, instead of considering the possibility that Christianity itself could be at fault.

This argument (you can't be a ex-christain) acts as a type of psychological shield against a fear christians have: that if someone else can loose there faith, then it's possible that it can also happen to them. To safeguard against this fear, christians believe that if you are a true believer, who can never possibly backslide into unbelief, and that the ex-Christian where not really a Christian to begin with.
