The Sound: Sydney LiveConcert 3.Dec.1981 remastered from me. The videopictures are from a TV-Show. I have both edited in a video/audioeditor and here is the result. I think the video is this time not 100% perfect (synchronicity), maybe i can overwork this in the future.Hm...you know the thirty frames a second version on the silver box? you found it on cd1..i say it in neat words: ''not really a burner'' ..Can anyone tell me the reason for the bad and noisy sound from cd1 on the silver box? :p Ok, here i am for the forthcoming platinum box ;-). Please take a look on my nearly perfect synchron video ''Simple Minds-Colours Fly And Catherine Wheel LIVE 1982 (Dexbam-Special) Remastered'' I think THE SOUND is in both videos great !? :p One day my ears are bleeding...deaf ;o Joking apart....
The sound source for this (from me) remastered 30frames version was a unreleased tape record from a australian radio broadcast, the sound was ok (3+), but far not brilliant !
video-resource are 3 different tv-tracks from a old scottish tv broadcast.
(Most scenes logical from ''thirty frames'')

Simple Minds Pleasently Disturbed Live in Amsterdam 23th March 1980, A must hear ! I think this live-version is after remastering a revived brilliant pearl. I have the full-length-remastered-version from this song (over 10 minutes long).
You must have the time to hear not only the intro, @2:33min you can hear the orgasmic highlight after the long magic intro with the violin. Resume: Not all early pearls from simple minds are (today) official released...This is is a (unofficial) Dexbam Special-Video. The Video-Source is from 1982, but the Audio from 1980, consequence is that you see not the correct drummer, in the video you can see mel gaynor, but in the audiotrack plays brian mc gee the drumset.
The sound is remastered from me, i know it enhance the song extrem, that's my emblements after 10 years remastering day for day :)

Ps: Please dont ask me for sharing about the complete remastared song. I think the best way is the officials ask me to remaster a few songs for a official release. :p
No problem for me if other people think that a well-established remastering-studio do this better. But after that we compare :p
I had heard last year the remastered versions from u2's boy and october, i've read the edge himself remastered that.
He is a absolut brilliant guitar-player, i love his kind to play the ''strat''.Dont understand me wrong, but sorry if i say its better he played furthermore in this brillant way guitar, not remastering, not the edge, its sad that the remastered albums ''october'' and ''boy'' not have the full sound.
(I remastered both for me in 2007)
No remastering software can replace empirical values, experience and good ears. Hard or software, its ever a ''tool''
