Combined Arms Exercises, 15th MEU Realism Unit

Trained and itching for deployment, the 15th MEU Realism Unit trains together using CAX's. Unlike normal training's where you use just one or two sections, this let's every section practice with one another. This usually involves deep planning.

General Jafar has taken over Takistan's military force. The 15th MEU(SOC) is deployed into Takistan to help the nation.

Operation: Rapid Justice, 15th MEU(SOC) Realism Unit

The 15th MEU(SOC) deploys to Chernarus in the game Arma 2. A local opposing force causes civil unrest in the country. They have occupied a major airfield, a small island, and two major port towns of the country cutting into its economy heavily by blocking trade from the sea.

SOCEX, 15th MEU Realism Unit

The Special Operations Capable Exercise (SOCEX) consists of seven missions divided into four days. They would take place on consecutive Sundays. The missions are based on a list of missions that an MEU must be capable of. This list was adapted to the 15thMEU and the Arma2 Combat Simulation Environment. Some of the missions would be Rapid Staff Planning (R2P2) operations where the target is not known until only a few hours before the operation itself. MEU's need their SOC(Special Operations Capable) designator before they are allowed to go onto deployment. So with the following videos, the 15th MEU Realism Unit hopes to prove to you that they have earned their SOC designation instead of just throwing it on like many other groups like to do.
