This meteorite is currently the highlight of my meteorite collection. It is an unclassified diogenite meteorite found in Northwest Africa. What makes it unique is the extreme freshness of the material. Notice the black fusion crust and flowlines. Inside it consists of a mix of green crystals. It looks similar to the Johnstown meteorite, but has much thicker fusion crust. I have never seen a meteorite like this. The origin of this 4560 million years old piece of rock is the asteroid 4 Vesta.
